Golden New Years Eve Wedding

In typical Winnipeg New Year’s Eve fashion, it was cold AF… -34 with the windchill cold. The weather, however did not stop Amanda and Chad from having a ton of fun on their wedding day.

We spent the morning getting ready at the hotel, and then Amanda and Chad shared their wedding vows with each other in the ceremony site. It was just the two of them which made it so intimate and special. After that, we took the wedding party and headed out for some photos. First stop was to a rink for some fun shots with the couple on the rink since they’re both avid hockey players (the NHL actually runs in Amanda’s blood!) and then we froze our sequins off on the Provencher Bridge with the bridal party. After that we traveled to the Hydro Building (indoors thank you!) and then back to the Victoria Inn for the ceremony and party!

The ceremony was short and sweet so that we could get on to the party complete with a NYE selfie station, champagne, dancing and a shot ski with Fireball shots made out of a hockey stick! It was such a blast and a great way to ring in the New Year.
